Our Ayurvedic product line is handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California. Each formula at Maharani Ayurveda is a natural extension of our healing treatments and rituals, inspired by ancient Ayurvedic apothecary traditions and over 30 years of clinical practice.

We use certified organic ingredients whenever possible, along with sustainably wild-crafted herbs, oils, and spices, always grown without chemicals.

All products are made in small batches to preserve freshness, potency, and vitality. Because of this, delivery may typically take 7–10 days business days.

About Our Body Oils

Our oils are handcrafted in the authentic Ayurvedic way and in accordance with traditional pharmaceutical guidelines. Following century old recipes, numerous herbs are first infused into a rich tea decoction and then decocted into an oil base. This assures that both the lipid and water soluble properties of the healing herbs are released. Due to the extremely small size of the oil molecule, the oils penetrate the skin deeply and transport the healing properties directly into the body. Available in 8oz, 16oz and also in gallon size, per special request.

Pitta Body Oil: Rejuvenating and Cooling

Kapha is dominated by water and earth elements. Winter and early spring aggravate Kapha. To balance Kapha, our specialized Kapha Oil blend includes warming herbs like tulsi and cinnamon. This oil blend has a warming and stimulating effect on the circulation and is also detoxifying.

Spices do not only make our food taste better, they also have a strong medicinal purpose in Ayurvedic cooking. Spices can change the quality of our food and make a meal more Vata, Pitta or Kapha pacifying.
